Find something to watch, send it to the chat, and your group's list sorts itself. Here's the whole thing, step by step.
Start typing and pick your title. You get five films or series that its fans went on to love, from TMDB's community of film and TV fans.
One tap adds the title to your group's list and opens WhatsApp with the message already written. Your friends don't need an account to open it.
Everything your group recommends, and everything anyone's in for, goes on one list. The titles the group rates best rise to the top, so "what should we watch?" has an answer.
Score anything you've watched out of 10. Your group's average is its Group Score, out of 100. Critics and strangers don't count, only the people whose taste you know.
Make one for the work lot, one for family, one for the two of you, one for five-a-side. Each keeps its own list, its own scores and its own Up next.
Hosting a film night? Share one link and let the whole room vote on what to watch. Guests just type their name.

No. Searching, getting picks and sharing on WhatsApp or Discord all work without one, and anyone can open a link you send. You only sign up to start or join a watch group, so your friends know who's recommending what.
From TMDB, The Movie Database: what people who liked your title went on to watch, with titles in the same genres ranked first. There are no ads or sponsored picks, and nobody pays to rank higher.
Discord doesn't let websites start a message for you the way WhatsApp does. On a phone, the Discord button opens the share sheet, so pick Discord and the message is filled in. On a computer it copies the message, link included, and opens Discord for you to paste it.

It's the average of everyone's scores out of 10, shown out of 100. Three friends scoring 10, 9 and 9 gives 93. Change or clear your score at any time.
Ask for their username and search for it from your profile, then invite them to one of your groups. They'll see the invite next time they open Because You Watched. Or just send them your group's code.
